New World of Work Award
The award highlights successful collaborations.
Roseburg, Oregon– Umpqua Community College received Ricoh’s New World of Work award on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. The award formally shines the spotlight on customers who utilize its technology, resources and service offerings in an innovative way to help achieve their business goals, while reinforcing to all employees what innovation, excellence and information mobility looks like.
The award was presented to members of UCC’s Copier Taskforce by Grant Lawson, Oregon Marketplace Vice President and Patrick Hicks, Major Accounts Executive both from Ricoh. Those in attendance from UCC for the award presentation were: Dr. Deb Thatcher, Dan Yoder, Kathy Thomason, Natalie Brown, Tena Lammers, Jules DeGiulio, Robynne Wilgus, Carol McGeehon, and Jennifer Roth.
Members of UCC’s Copier Taskforce spent considerable time and energy last spring and summer completing a campus-wide study and executing a 5-year lease contract with Ricoh for all of UCC’s copier/print devices. Kathy Thomason was singled out for recognition at the ceremony as an invaluable resource during the implementation of Equitrak software. The “follow-me” printing feature efficiently captures and records copier use for ease of accounting. The third piece is the purchase and implementation of DocuWare, a document management program that is currently being rolled out on campus.
Congratulations to members of the Copier Taskforce, and to UCC for their collaborative efforts that bring about efficiency and cost-savings.
